Training division was founded in 2013 to educate gun owners. We saw the need to train the owners properly, teach the safety and skills.

We train more people than any other company/instructors in our area. We train active law enforcement and civilians alike, we are not going to train you to be NAVY SEALS, you will learn safe firearm handling, and proper techniques in firearm shooting. When you book a course with us, we guarantee that you will learn safe firearms handling, confidence and skill. That’s our pledge to you.

ARMS TRADERS OF AMERICA training division instructors have been instructing, training and handling firearms for well over 30 years. What’s more ? We are the fastest growing training company in the Hudson Valley area that is actively training civilians and law enforcement in safe handling, tactical handgun, shotgun, rifle, & self defensive firearm handling.

Due to the high demand of training, we are continuously working with and seeking out a more diverse selection of instructors. All of our Instructors are Certified Firearms Instructors; our instructors have been certified by various agencies and organizations including, the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services , the Federal Bureau of Investigation, The United States Army Special Forces, NRA Law Enforcement Division, NRA Civilian Division, IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association Range Safety Officer) various law enforcement agencies in the United States, and various firearm manufacturers such as: Glock and Sig Sauer.
